We take your safety seriously at the Vanuatu Jungle Zipline. Once connected to the safety line, it is impossible to disconnect without the express assistance of an operator.
At the Vanuatu Jungle Zipline we use the Swiss made Saferoller® continuous belay system. The Saferoller® Trolley is a certified mobile connecting device (PPE) conforming to all industry safety standards. Once connected to the safety line, it is impossible to disconnect without the express assistance of an operator.
This means that when you are at height on the Zipline you remain continuously connected to the safety line. This eliminates the risk of falling from height due to human error and not being connected to the safety line.
On any Zipline system in the world, including ours, there are still some inherent risks when participating in the activity. These risks can be trip hazards on jungle paths such as roots or uneven steps, getting long hair caught in Zipline trolleys and collision on the Zipline with objects or other people. These risks have measures in place to control and reduce them such as, wearing safety equipment, having a fully guided tour with guides providing demonstrations of what to do and what not to do and guides dispatching and receiving on every platform on the course.
You will have to sign an indemnification waiver before you do the zipline.
The personal protective safety equipment you will use on the course is helmet, gloves, full body harness and Saferoller continuous belay trolley to connect you to the safety line.
All Zipline riders will be issued with a modern, size adjustable, comfortable helmet
Our Saferoller continuous belay trolleys are of a world class standard. Once you connect it to the line you cannot remove it until the end of the Zipline tour.
Your harness goes around your waist, groin, and shoulders. It holds you in even when upside down!
All participants wear gloves for safety.
Our guides go through a rigorous training process to make sure they enhance your zipline experience. They are friendly and professional, and will make you feel comfortable and secure. If you have any special needs please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.
Our team conducts regular inspections and maintenance on the Zipline Course and all PPE equipment.

The Zipline course requires that the guests actively participate on the course. It is important that you are able to easily walk up and down steps, follow instructions and raise your legs when arriving in to platforms. If you have special needs it is likely you will still be able to participate. Please advise us in advance so that we can be prepared on the day and give you effective advice on your possible participation.
